Job Description Summary

• The Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable first impression by greeting, seating, and assisting guests while delivering exceptional customer service in line with the restaurant's service standards. The role manages reservations, maintains accurate guest records, coordinates table allocations, and communicates effectively with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth operations and an outstanding guest experience.
• The position oversees reception and front-of-house duties, including answering telephone enquiries, managing reservation systems, preparing daily reception materials, maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the reception area, and ensuring menus, signage, and promotional materials are accurate and well presented. The Hostess also assists with food and beverage service when required, supports suggestive selling initiatives, handles guest requests and complaints professionally, and provides accurate information on menu offerings, promotions, and hotel services.
• In addition, the role completes daily administrative tasks, including reservation records, guest logs, sales and cover reports, and shift documentation, while ensuring all end-of-shift procedures are completed accurately. The Hostess maintains effective communication with colleagues across departments, supports operational efficiency, attends required training and meetings, and upholds the highest standards of professionalism, grooming, and hospitality to contribute to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the restaurant.

Requirements

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
• Minimum of 1 year in hospitality business. Fresh graduate is welcome
• Knowledgeable in various kinds of food and beverage.
• Computer literate
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fixed term contract expire 31 May 2027
