- Basic literacy
- Relevant knowledge of and experience in general cleaning will be an added advantage
- Physical fitness and health with no back problems
- Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Primary functions
- Responsible for all duties in the kitchen
- Responsible for preparing training room and tearoom for meetings
- Responsible for checking and distributing store items
- Responsible for special tasks as requested by the supervisor
