- A relevant three-year Tertiary qualification, preferably NQF7
- Preferred qualification is a BTech/Adv Dip: Watercare, Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or relevant water related qualification e.g. Water Utilization/Water and Sanitation
- Professional registration preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years' related operations experience with at least 3 years' supervisory/management experience in operation of water treatment infrastructure and/or associated catchment / storage / conveyance structures and facilities.
- Must have Computer Literacy, knowledge of SAP, PM Maintenance, and associated programs.
- Will be required to have specialised knowledge of basic water hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, process control systems and civil maintenance requirements.
- A valid Code B/EB Code 8 Driver's Licence.
Key Performance Areas
- Managing the Key Performance indicators and activities associated with the continuous operation of the depots to ensure effective service delivery.
- Planning and prioritising depot resources to effectively control depot functions.
- Managing depot performance, productivity and discipline within the Scheme to ensure consistent reliable performance.
- Planning, prioritising and scheduling maintenance work.
- Preparing Operational and Capital estimates and controls expenditure against approved budget allocations.
