SATIC: Finance Transformation Manager

Summary

• The Finance Transformation competency supports finance transformation programmes across core finance domains, helping organisations improve finance processes, operating models, performance management and business partnering capabilities with the primary focus in delivering sustainable business value through finance transformation and process improvement.

Qualifications / Certifications Required

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent desirable

Experience Required

• Core finance process expertise R2R, P2P, O2C, Finance Business Partnering
• Experience delivering finance transformation, finance improvement or operating model initiatives.
• Experience in supporting process redesign, standardisation, optimisation or performance improvement programmes.
• Understanding finance target operating models, shared services, and business partnering models.
• Exposure to technology-enabled transformation, ERP/EPM programmes or finance system improvements is advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead teams and deliver results.
• Familiarity with digital enablers e.g. automation, dashboards, process mining, understanding of AI in finance and ERP/EPM systems e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday is desirable.
• Experience leading finance transformation workstreams or projects, including planning, delivery oversight, quality assurance, risk management and team coordination across complex transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors, CFOs, Programme Sponsors and business leaders, building trusted relationships and driving decision-making through transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities of Role

• Deliver finance transformation projects from strategy through to execution, focusing on core processes like R2R, P2P, O2C, and Finance Business Partnering.
• Design and implement future-ready finance operating models, using best practices, automation, and digital tools, while applying an understanding of how technology can enable and enhance finance processes and business outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, perform process analysis, and develop recommendations that improve finance effectiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate across PwC's global network to deliver innovative, tech-enabled solutions.
• Manage and mentor teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous development.
• Develop transformation assets such as diagnostics, playbooks, and delivery tools.
• Support business development, including proposals, client workshops, and thought leadership.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders as strategic advisors.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across finance transformation engagements, providing coaching, performance oversight and guidance to junior team members while ensuring delivery excellence.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships, facilitate executive workshops, provide strategic recommendations and support governance forums to drive alignment, decision-making and successful programme outcomes.
