SAP BW/BW4HANA Contractor

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Mid–Senior SAP BW/BW4HANA Contractor to develop, support and optimise SAP BW solutions and reporting across Finance and Manufacturing environments.

The successful candidate must have hands-on experience building or supporting SAP BW solutions that cover both finance and manufacturing processes. This is an independent consulting role requiring strong technical delivery, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support SAP BW and SAP BW/4HANA solutions.

• Develop and maintain data models, DTPs, transformations, extractors and Process Chains.

• Integrate SAP BW with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

• Develop and support BW Queries and reports using BEx and Analysis for Office.

• Perform ABAP development and work with HANA and SQL where required.

• Troubleshoot data-load failures, reporting discrepancies and performance issues.

• Conduct data reconciliation and ensure reporting accuracy.

• Gather and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Develop and support reporting solutions across Finance and Manufacturing.

• Engage confidently with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior management.

• Work independently within a consulting and contractor environment.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of four years’ hands-on SAP BW experience.

• Strong SAP BW/4HANA and/or BW on HANA experience.

• Strong data-modelling and ETL expertise.

• Hands-on experience with DTPs, Process Chains, transformations and data extraction.

• Experience integrating SAP BW with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong knowledge of:

• BW Queries and BEx

• Analysis for Office

• ABAP

• SAP HANA and SQL

• Performance optimisation

• Data reconciliation and troubleshooting

• Manufacturing KPIs and operational reporting
