The SAP Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT by analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into effective SAP solutions. The role ensures SAP systems support and optimise business operations while meeting functional and compliance requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and processes
- Translate business needs into SAP functional specifications
- Configure and support relevant SAP modules (e.g. FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM)
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams during solution design and delivery
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution
- Support SAP integrations, upgrades, and continuous improvements
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support
- Act as liaison between business, IT, and external vendors/consultants
Desired Experience & Qualification
Strong understanding of SE business processes and SAP AP9 system
Hands-on experience with one or more SAP modules
Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with system testing and documentation
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
5-10 years of experience minimum
