Duties & Responsibilities
Job purpose/ Milestones
- The Data Analyst and Team Assistant will support the Sales Team by collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide accurate sales reporting, actionable insights through dashboards to track performance and improve operational efficiency and drive sales growth.
- Assist the Sales Team with follow-up and coordination of ad hoc field team queries with the underwriters, as well as claims-related and VIP queries.
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Team by managing the Dealer visit planning schedule, coordinating Dealer appointments, assisting with travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, car hire. Reconciling and filing of credit card statements and expenses.
- Keep track of the Sales Team’s expenses and budgets.
- The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting.
- Collect, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly and ad hoc sales performance reports and dashboards.
- Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Present findings and insights to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of Sales Teams’ budgets, track expenditure against budget, highlight variances and prepare month-end reporting.
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the Sales Teams’ monthly Dealer visit plan, track visits against planning and prepare monthly feedback.
Travel & Logistics Coordination
- Prepare travel itineraries and supporting documentation for management approval.
- Ensure travel plans comply with company travel policies and budgets.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Book accommodation, transport, and conference registrations.
- Manage travel expense claims and maintain travel records.
- Book strategic and planning events.
Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings and coordinate reporting timelines.
- Prepare minutes, action lists and timelines.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and support business initiatives.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- 2-5 years' experience in a data analysis, reporting, or business support role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience in budget tracking and sales reporting.
- Experience coordinating travel arrangements and logistics.
- Valid driver's licence advantageous.
