Introduction

Our client is looking for a Sales & Service Technician Apprentice to join their Durban branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded, customer-focused individual who is interested in developing their career within the weighing, scales and labelling industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide professional service and support to customers.
  • Assist with the installation, servicing and repair of company products.
  • Deliver products and provide customer training where required.
  • Maintain and develop existing customer relationships.
  • Assist with helpdesk and customer support.
  • Assist with stock counts and general stock-related activities.
  • Assist with office administration.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and applicable legislation.
  • Assist with updating relevant policies and procedures.
  • Work overtime when required.
  • Be willing to study and develop towards becoming a Verification Officer .

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric / Grade 12 .
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in FMCG .
  • Valid driver's licence .
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
  • Knowledge of retail scales, weights and measures .
  • Sales and customer relationship skills.
  • Goal-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confident, honest, enthusiastic and approachable.
  • Neat, efficient and professional.
  • Own vehicle is essential , due to the travel requirements of the position.
