Our client is a trusted name in agricultural hygiene, veterinary, and animal health solutions across South Africa and the African continent. They are looking for a Sales Representative/Technical consultant with experience in the Agricultural and Poultry industry that would service their Northwest and Free State based customers. Ideally the applicable candidate should be based in Potchefstroom/Krugersdorp or surrounding areas.
Duties & Responsibilities

Territory Scope
Responsible for poultry and pig clients across the Northwest and Free State, including regular travel to farms, distributors, and key clients.
What you will do
Grow and manage key agricultural accounts while developing new business
Promote company products and solutions through technical expertise
Provide hands-on technical support and training to veterinarians, farm staff, and distributors
Conduct on-site audits covering biosecurity, hygiene, disinfection, rodent control, vaccine application, fly control, and water treatment systems
Implement trials and deliver technical services in the field
Support product performance monitoring, quality, and traceability
Assist in technical training for customers and internal teams
Act as a key link between customers, veterinarians, industry bodies, and internal teams
Desired Experience & Qualification
Experience in agricultural chemicals, biosecurity, or animal health products (strong advantage)
BSc degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or Nutrition (advantage)
Practical farm exposure (poultry or pig operations) (advantage)
Sales or customer-facing experience (advantage)
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively
Candidate must be ideally based in or willing to relocate to Potchefstroom/Krugersdorp or surrounding areas.
