Sales Representatives

Industry: Retail Sales & Distribution Location: Eastern Cape, KwaZulu Natal, and surrounding areas Remuneration:

• Basic salary: Approximately R10,000 per month, negotiable based on experience

• Car allowance: Approximately R5,000 per month

• Company petrol card

• Commission based on account performance or percentage of targets achieved

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Retail Sales Representative based in Eastern Cape / KwaZulu Natal and surrounding areas to manage existing retail accounts, develop customer relationships and drive sales growth within the assigned territory. The successful candidate must have current retail sales representative experience and established relationships with store-level management in general merchandise, housewares, kitchenware, small domestic appliances or electronics. This is an independent, customer-facing field sales role requiring regular store visits, merchandising, stock management, promotional execution and sales reporting. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Visit retail stores according to the allocated call cycle.

• Build and maintain relationships with store managers and relevant retail decision-makers.

• Drive sales and identify opportunities to increase product distribution.

• Merchandise products and maintain professional product displays.

• Monitor stock availability and ensure products are adequately represented in-store.

• Secure and maintain promotional displays.

• Execute in-store promotions and merchandising activities.

• Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for improved product placement.

• Complete daily store reporting using Repsly.

• Maintain regular communication with management through Microsoft Teams.

• Achieve agreed call-rate, merchandising, reporting and sales targets.

• Work weekends and flexible retail hours when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Current retail sales representative experience calling on major retail chains.

• Existing relationships and experience with store-level management in general merchandise, housewares, kitchenware, small domestic appliances or electronics.

• Reliable personal vehicle, model year 2021 or newer.

• Valid driver's licence.

• Current Android smartphone compatible with Repsly and Microsoft Teams.

• Proven merchandising, stock management and promotional execution experience.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage an allocated territory.

• Willingness to travel regularly and work weekends.

Important: Candidates whose experience is limited to FMCG, food, beverages, liquor, tobacco or perishables will not be considered.
