Komatsu South Africa is seeking a passionate Sales Representative with at least 2 years’ sales/customer relationship management experience to join their Operational team in White River.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job specification

• Draft sales plan/forecast with visits, activities, and targets for defined products, customers, or areas

• Develops & maintains relationships with stakeholders (internal & customer) in the sales process to drive results

• Facilitates unit sales process in conjunction with all internal stakeholders

• Increases visibility of the Komatsu brand at customer sites

• Collates and gathers information for use in sales analyses

• Identifies & collates information to understand market segmentation, trends, product benefit analysis, pricing strategies to develop effective values added sales & marketing strategies.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• A minimum of 2 - 4 years sales and/or customer relationship management experience  (essential)

• Experience in construction, mining, industrial tool, agricultural and/or mining equipment or related industries (an advantage)

• Matric (essential)

• Diploma in a Technical field / Trade / Sales and Marketing qualification or related field (NQF level 6 an advantage)

• Proven sales and/or customer relationship management track record in construction/mining/agricultural/industrial tooling equimpent or related industry with good understanding of the local community and enviroment.

• Strong communication skills

• Strong negotiation skills with financial and technical acumen

• Good understanding of lifecycle costing

• Applicant must be motivated and target driven

Additional knowledge/Requirements

• Valid driver's license

• MS - Excel & SAP
