Working under the direct guidance of the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative assists with the development of the current and potential clients in the South African region. The role is focused on South African markets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support the sales team with product information, quotes, files and presentations, etc.
Control and revise the order placement, quoting, and invoicing processes. Stock returns, credit notes, replacement orders and all after sales requirements and follow-ups.
Liaison with the logistics suppliers, following-up deliveries to our clients and assisting with the after sales processes.
Be responsible for the day-to-day contact with clients, either by phone or e-mail, following up the operational details of their orders.
Facilitate the interface between our sales teams and our factories in Brazil.
Follow up the commercial and marketing activities, collecting feedback from the clients and market in general.
Keep updated about the market tendencies, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that involve our segments.
Research about market situation in SA, regarding products, brands, prices and general information related to our segments.
Identify gaps in the market and suggest actions that could be evaluated by the sales teams, in order to create and/or maintain the Company’s competitiveness.
Provide solid product information to clients, connecting to the product’s features and the client’s needs.
Analyze, measure and control the obtained results.
Requirements: Own reliable car with adequate insurance and a valid drivers license.
This is an active field sales role requiring daily regional travel and frequent overnight stays to manage and grow client accounts across the territory assigned to them.

Desired Experience & Qualification
A good command of the English language (written & verbal) and Afrikaans are a compulsory requirement for this position.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in SAP is beneficial however not mandatory as in-house training will be provided.
Must be able to work comfortably in an open plan office setup.
Previous experience of a minimum of 2 years is required where the focus was prospecting, closing the deal, quoting, and invoicing and after sales service.
Willing to develop a long-term career in the company.
Able to work overtime as and when required.

Gross salary: R17,600.00
