Sales Representative

Introduction

Our client is South Africa's leading workshop equipment supplier. They have an exciting position available for an experienced Sales Consultant to join their growing team in Midrand.

The position report to the Ops Manager & Director The successful candidate will travel extensively throughout the Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Daily Client visits – Visting minimum 15 shops per day - (out of office 4 days a week)

• Maintain and Grow business relationship with existing customer base

• Sell full range of company products and services to Service Centres, Dealership and Tyre businesses

• New business development

• Provide detailed specifications and prepare quotations for clients

• Complete call reports, track orders, and log daily activity on company system

• Ensure customers have all the necessary documentation relating to products i.e. brochures, etc.

• Ensure all relevant administration is completed and submitted timeously

Desired Experience & Qualification

Skill, Knowledge and Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years proven External Sales Experience

• Knowledge or general understanding of either Hydraulics, Numatics or Electrical industry

• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

• Fluent in English and Afrikaans – Afrikaans is Essential

• Strong negotiating skills

• Attention to detail

• Proven problem solving abilities

• Computer literate especially in excel, outlook

• Grade 12

• Valid drivers license

OTHER

• Presentable and well groomed

• Deadline drive and Self-motivated

• Highly energetic and have the ability to work independently.

Package & Remuneration

Salary:        R15 000 tctc per month plus 10% Commission on GP
