Sales Representative (Permanent) Port Elizabeth

Duties & Responsibilities

· Build and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients

· Work collaboratively and engage to achieve specific targets

· Generate potential leads based on targets

· Identify new clients using various methods like cold calling, referrals, research, meetings, networking in the industry

· Sales presentations to potential clients

· Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market trends.

· Implement sales strategies for target markets and identify competitive threats and lost opportunities

· Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction

· Accurate and efficient record keeping/reporting of sales activities, leads, prospects and customer interactions

· Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management

· Be a positive representative of the company and conduct all activities with professionalism and integrity

· Familiar with tenders

· Knowledge of security industry and cabling industry

· Able to source new business through building site prospects – new hospitals, shopping centres, schools

Desired Experience & Qualification

· Matric

· Qualification in Sales or Marketing advantageous

· Minimum 5 years sales experience

· Technical background

· Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills

· Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

· Self-motivated and driven to meet and exceed sales targets

· Ability to work independently and part of a team

· Able to travel (Eastern Cape) own vehicle and driver’s license required – if possible this

would be better

· Computer literate essential for presentations

· Knowledge of H&S procedures

Skills

· Excellent sales skills and definite cold calling knowledge

· Good IT skills, CRM database and reporting

· Customer management skills

· Technically minded essential, ability to identify technical/product specification issues easily

· Fast learner, ability to learn and understand technical products

· Excellent Customer service & Communication skills (written / spoken)
