A well-established Food Manufacturing Company is looking for a driven and experienced Sales Representative to join their team and develop business across the Northern Natal region .
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities within the allocated territory.
Duties & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify and secure new customers and business opportunities
- Promote and sell the company’s food products to customers within the assigned territory
- Conduct regular customer visits and follow up on enquiries and sales opportunities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Grow the company’s customer base and increase sales within the territory
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Prepare quotations and follow up to convert enquiries into sales
- Process and follow up on customer orders
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding orders, products and deliveries
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Provide feedback to management on customer requirements and market opportunities
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer queries professionally
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity and prospects
- Travel regularly throughout Newcastle, Ladysmith, Estcourt and surrounding areas
