Sales Representative

Introduction

We are a well-established wholesaler and specification company in Port Elizabeth looking for a professional sales consultant to join our dynamic, motivated team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The position requires the sales consultant to look after and grow a very well established retail customer base in the Eastern & Southern Cape, through effective relationship management and customer service

• Take over existing projects and add new projects to the pipeline.

• Calling on a variety of industries, from architects, construction, retailers and installers

• Complete comprehensive call reports via a CRM system

• Give educated presentations of products and ranges to building professionals

• Liaising with and working closely with internal sales admin and procurement staff regarding urgent orders, ensuring all customer requirements or special needs are communicated.

• Ensuring all Customer related queries are attended to and resolved timeously

• Providing technical support to customers for existing products

• Achieve sales targets

Desired Experience & Qualification

• The successful candidate must have sales experience in the hardware and building industry or must have at least 5 years’ experience calling on architects, engineers and contractors, specifying products and overseeing the project from start to finish.

• Strong communication skills – including both verbal and written communication skills.

• Time Management, Self-motivated, Resilience,

• The ability to influence and negotiate successfully

• Fast Learner – Growing Product Knowledge through weekly training

• Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle

• Clear criminal and work history

Package & Remuneration

• Basic salary plus commission

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00
