The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting LHC Pharmaceuticals’ portfolio to healthcare professionals within an assigned territory. You will build trusted, science-led relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other decision-makers, communicate clinical data accurately, and grow product uptake in line with agreed sales targets — always within the bounds of applicable regulations and our code of conduct.
This is a field role. You will spend the majority of your time in clinics, hospitals and pharmacies, working with a high degree of autonomy over how you plan and run your territory
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle within the assigned territory, including customer targeting, call planning, follow-ups and account development.
- Achieve agreed sales targets by growing product uptake and identifying new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals and key accounts.
- Deliver accurate, compliant product and clinical information, and support approved educational activities.
- Maintain strong product, competitor and market knowledge to support effective territory execution.
- Record customer activity, opportunities and follow-ups in the CRM, and submit reports and expenses on time.
- Promptly escalate adverse events, product quality complaints or compliance concerns through the correct channels.
- Operate in line with applicable laws, industry codes and internal compliance policies at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, business or a related field.
- [1–3] years of successful sales experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, medical device or another regulated B2B environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong scientific aptitude — able to learn complex clinical material and explain it clearly to expert audiences.
- Excellent verbal communication, questioning and listening skills.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively within territory, including occasional overnight stays.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, digital engagement tools and standard office software.
Desirable
- Existing relationships with prescribers in [therapeutic area] within the territory.
- Experience with hospital, specialist or key-account selling.
- Prior exposure to launch products or highly competitive markets.
- Formal sales methodology training
