Bring your industrial technical sales experience to opportunities serving food and beverage producers and mining operations. Duties & Responsibilities
Our client is recruiting for three Sales Representative opportunities. There is one position in Cape Town, Western Cape, serving the food and beverage industry; one in Johannesburg, Gauteng, also serving the food and beverage industry; and one in Johannesburg, Gauteng, serving the mining industry.
The roles focus on industrial automation, instrumentation, networking, communication and connectivity solutions used in manufacturing, food-processing, mining and processing operations. You will develop business, identify customer needs, present suitable solutions and build relationships with engineers, system integrators, plant managers, maintenance teams and other technical decision-makers.
Education
- A qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or Automation is preferred.
- A trade-tested Electrician qualification will also be considered.
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Experience in technical sales or business development within manufacturing, food and beverage production, mining or another industrial environment is required.
- Exposure to industrial automation, instrumentation, industrial networking, industrial Ethernet, programmable logic controllers or supervisory control and data acquisition systems will be valuable.
- Candidates should be comfortable selling engineered solutions into industrial operations and engaging with technical and operational stakeholders.
