SALES REPRESENTATIVE -INDUSTRAL EQUIPMENT (Laser Welders & Cleaners)

Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically minded Sales Representative based in KwaZulu-Natal (Durban) to represent our clients cutting edge range of handheld laser welders and laser cleaning systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment, welding or manufacturing sales, with the ability to demonstrate products, build lasting client relationships, and drive sales growth across the KZN region

This permanen , field-based role is offering R40,000 - R65,000 CTC per month (negotiable), extensive travel within KZN, and full product training

Duties & Responsibilities

• Promote and sell handheld laser welders and laser cleaners across KwaZulu-Natal

• Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities and grow market share in KZN

• Conduct on site customer demonstrations and present product capabilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients

• Provide technical advice and support to customers on product applications

• Follow up on quotations, negotiate and close sales to achieve monthly targets

• Preapre sales reports, market feedback and competitor actively updates

• Manage customer database and ensure regular client visits and follow ups

• Travel extensively throughout KwaZulu-Natal to meet clients and attend to sales inquiries

• Work closely with head office regarding stock, orders, and after sales service

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric (Grade 12)

• 3- 5 years proven sales experience , prefereably in Industrial equipment , Welding equipment, Manufacturing oe Engineering

• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing a client base

• Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand laser welding / cleaning technology

• Strong communication , presentation and negotiation skills

• Confident in conducting customer demonstrations and product presentations

• Ability to prospect, build customer relationships and close deals

• Computer literate -MS Office

• Valid drivers license - essential and willingness to travel extensively throughout KZN

• Own vehicle will be an advantage

• Experience in welding or metal fabrication wil be a strong advantage

• Self motivated proffestional , presentatable and target driven

Package & Remuneration

R40 000 - R65 000 CTC per month
