Our client, a national medical devices and consumables distribution company, currently seeks your exceptional sales experience for the Gauteng region (including Johannesburg East, North & Central, as well as Mpumalanga province and part of the North West Province). Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Sales and/or Marketing qualification, a strong advantage.
- Minimum 1 to 2 sales experience - preferably within the Medical, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Diagnostic industry.
- Experience selling in to both Public/State and Private/Retail markets.
- Sales drive and goal-orientated.
- Valid driver's licence essential.
- Proficient in written and verbal English. Second and third language beneficial.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the allocated territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales within the allocated territory.
- Conduct regular customer visits to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, healthcare facilities and other relevant customers.
- Promote the full company product range and identify opportunities to introduce additional products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, products and market trends and provide regular feedback to management.
- Identify and follow up on tenders, quotations and other business opportunities within the allocated territory.
- Provide product training to customers when required.
- Manage customer queries and complaints and ensure that issues are resolved promptly.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information and ensure all customer interactions, visits, quotations and orders are recorded on the company's sales system.
- Submit regular sales reports and provide management with relevant market intelligence.

The ideal candidate will have an established network within the healthcare/medical market , particularly in the public sector, and will be comfortable managing a large geographical territory with significant travel requirements. Experience with medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceutical products or related healthcare products would be highly advantageous. Package & Remuneration
