A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team in Johannesburg South. Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business Management advantageous)
- Proven experience in sales and business development
- Experience within the manufacturing industry is highly advantageous
- Experience in the packaging, box manufacturing, printing or related industries will be beneficial
- Strong cold calling, prospecting and lead generation experience
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Target-driven with the ability to work independently
- Good understanding of the sales cycle and pipeline management
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- Afrikaans-speaking candidates will be preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking and client visits
- Conduct sales presentations and promote products and solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate sales reports
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Research new markets and identify potential customers
- Work closely with internal sales, production and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts
Package & Remuneration
R 20 000 - R 25 000 - Monthly plus Plus company car and company benefits
