Minimum requirements for the role

• A relevant educational qualification in either Marketing, Business or Food Sciences or related is preferred. • Previous experience having sold confectionary and or powdered drinks or pet food or a related product into the Retail or Wholesale etc markets is essential for the role. • Must have strong customer engagement, client relationship building, and sales negotiation skills. • Proficiency in meeting sales targets, analysing market trends, and developing effective sales strategies. • Must have good organisational skills to manage client accounts and contribute to sales planning. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Selling and promoting a range of confectionery and powdered drink products as well as pet food products into the Retail, wholesale, and related markets. • Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. • Presenting and promoting products to prospective customers, managing client accounts, negotiating sales contracts, and providing excellent customer service. • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure customers needs are met. • Driving sales growth by promoting the companys food products and packaging solutions. • Negotiating pricing, contracts, and supply agreements with customers. • Collaborating with production and quality teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities. • Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and territory performance reviews. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
