Position Overview

A well-established and reputable security company is seeking a driven, motivated and results-oriented Sales Consultant to join their team in Gauteng.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships and growing the company's customer base across Gauteng. This is a target-driven position suited to an ambitious sales professional who enjoys working independently, building relationships and securing new business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the security industry.

• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and other business development activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

• Conduct client visits and presentations throughout Gauteng.

• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable security solutions.

• Prepare and present quotations and proposals.

• Follow up on leads, quotations and prospective clients.

• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell security services.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain long-term client relationships.

• Represent the company professionally when meeting prospective and existing clients.

• Assist with social media marketing initiatives where required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' sales experience.

• Minimum 2 years' experience within the security industry.

• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and generating new business.

• Strong relationship-building and client management skills.

• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle .

• Willingness to travel throughout Gauteng .

• Fluent in English and Afrikaans .

• Computer literate with experience in Sage, Microsoft Excel and Word .

• Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.

• Highly self-motivated, driven and target-oriented.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• Social media marketing experience will be highly advantageous.
