Sales Representative: Drone Services

Introduction

An Agritalent client, a leading agribusiness, seeks a Drone Services Sales Rep for a fast-paced sales environment to expand their footprint in the region and promote cutting-edge drone spraying and crop monitoring solutions that are transforming farming.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage portfolio: Build and maintain a strong client base for our drone services, including spraying, mapping, and monitoring.

• On-site expertise: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and provide expert technical consultations directly on client farms.

• Drive sales: Actively pursue new business through cold calling, nurturing referrals, and representing the Company at exhibitions and agricultural events.

• Client success: Ensure outstanding after-sales service and comprehensive technical follow-up to guarantee client satisfaction.

• Training and support: Provide hands-on training to clients on drone operation and effective usage.

• Fleet management: Coordinate efficient fleet maintenance and oversee drone repairs to ensure optimal operational readiness.

• Data collaboration: Support internal teams by leveraging drone data to deliver valuable agronomic insights.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF4 equivalent

• Certification: Valid RPC certificate (Remote Pilot Competency) is essential.

• Driver's license

• Sales experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience, ideally within the agriculture or agri-tech sector.

• Tech knowledge: Proven experience with drone technology or spraying equipment.

• Bilingual: Fully proficient in both Afrikaans and English (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight in rural locations when required.

• A Remote Maintenance Technician (RMT) certificate will be advantageous.
