- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Drive sales growth through a combination of external client visits and internal sales activities.
- Identify new business opportunities within laboratories, research facilities, industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Provide product recommendations and technical sales support.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales opportunities.
- Ensure excellent customer service and account management.
Ideal Background Candidates will ideally come from:
- Rad Chemicals
- Merck / Sigma-Aldrich
- Industrial Analytical
- Similar laboratory consumables, analytical reagents, chemicals, or scientific product suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience within the analytical, laboratory, scientific, chemical, or reagent industry.
- Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
- Ability to manage both field-based and office-based sales activities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for client visits.
