Mac Weighing Solutions is looking for an experienced, energetic and self-motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town.
We supply weighing scales, labels, point-of-sale systems and retail software to butcheries, supermarkets and other businesses in the retail sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Develop new business throughout Cape Town and surrounding areas
- Sell scales, labels, point-of-sale systems and retail software
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and follow-ups
- Prepare quotations and manage opportunities through to completion
- Work toward and consistently achieve monthly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits and sales activity
- Identify new opportunities within the butchery, supermarket and retail sectors
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, preferably within the retail, butchery or supermarket sector
- A strong track record of achieving sales targets and working within a budget
- Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work without constant supervision
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confident in approaching new customers and developing new business
- Good computer skills
- Valid South African driver’s licence
- Reliable transport
- Experience selling weighing equipment, labels, POS systems or software will be a strong advantage
