its footprint across the Johannesburg region through a dedicated sales presence in the field.

Job Title

Sales Representative, Automotive Batteries (Johannesburg region)

Purpose of the Role

To grow sales volume and open new accounts for the battery brand across the Johannesburg area, calling

on workshops, retailers, fitment centres, fleet operators, and other relevant trade customers. The role is

field based and required someone comfortable building relationships and closing deals face to face.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach new customers in the automotive trade, including workshops, battery retailers, fitment centres, spares shops and fleet operators

• Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts

• Meet or exceed agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets

• Report on call activity, pipeline, and account status on a regular basis

• Provide market feedback on pricing, competitor activity, and customer needs

• Always represent the brand professionally in the field

Requirements

• Proven sales experience in the automotive parts, battery, or related trade sector

• Existing relationships or network within the Johannesburg automotive trade is a strong advantage

• Valid driver's licence, required for daily travel between customers

• Comfortable self-managing a daily call cycle

• Strong negotiation and relationship building skills

• Basic computer literacy for reporting and communication
