An established electrical distributor based in Port Elizabeth is seeking an Electrical Technical Sales Representative (Internal and external) . The role is suited to an outgoing, customer-focused, structured, and dynamic individual who can provide technical sales support and build strong customer relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Source new customers.
- Maintain customer relationships on an ongoing basis.
- Provide technical advice on products and their optimal applications.
- Prepare and provide component quotations and cost estimates timeously.
- Follow up effectively on all quotations and cost estimates submitted.
- Liaise effectively with the internal sales team.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Essential Requirements
- Technical background in the electrical industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organized and structured.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Willingness to participate in continuous improvement training.
Advantageous Experience
- Previous sales experience.
- Basic knowledge of the Pastel accounting system.
Package & Remuneration
- Salary will be based on experience and product knowledge.
- Quarterly incentive bonus payable when sales targets and gross profit (GP) targets are achieved
