Sales Representative – Automotive Aftermarket

This full-time, mid-level role is based in the office, with periodic visits to workshops, fitment centres, spare parts retailers and commercial fleet clients. You’ll focus on winning new business through outbound sales, while also growing relationships with existing trade customers. Job Specification

ABOUT THE ROLE

Make consistent daily cold calls using lead databases, directories and market research.

Introduce automotive aftermarket parts, promotions and commercial supply agreements to workshop owners, buyers and managers.

Qualify prospects, handle objections and convert suitable leads into initial orders. Offer

Manage the sales process from first contact through to quotations, order processing and follow-up.

Visit selected client sites to secure key accounts, review stock requirements and strengthen trade relationships.

Re-engage quiet or inactive accounts with relevant product and promotional offers.

Represent the business professionally during all client visits.

Keep accurate records of calls, client discussions, follow-ups and planned visits in the CRM.

Work closely with the in-house operations and dispatch teams to support efficient order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

At least 3 years’ proven sales experience at mid-level.

A strong track record in outbound cold calling and phone-based B2B sales.

Previous experience in the automotive trade or aftermarket spare parts sector.

Confidence speaking with workshop owners, parts buyers, managers and fleet decision-makers.

Strong negotiation, objection-handling and closing skills.

Resilience and a target-driven approach to daily sales activity.

Willingness to work full-time from the office and travel locally for client visits.

A valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
