Sales Representative

Introduction

We are looking for a sales representative to join our company.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Product preparation and presentation to customers

• Complete weekly call cycles. Provide management with weekly progress reports

• Grow and maintain a customer/client database by building sound relationship

• Develop close working relationship with customers

• Responsible for the growth of new and current business

• Continuously seek new opportunities

• Drive orders and awareness on all product lines where applicable

• Receive and process orders with relevant parties

• Meet monthly sales targets

• Ensure all customers are adequately stocked at all times.

• Resolve all customer queries promptly and professionally

• Other duties as assigned to you.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Educational Requirements:  Grade 12 (or equivalent) is essential; a relevant degree or tertiary qualification is also essential.

• Experience:  Five to seven years in a similar role. Experience in brand building is highly desirable.

• Report writing skills and analysis of current sales to identify opportunity areas and feedback to all involved parties

• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Skills:  Excellent understanding of the market, customer needs and business processes. Knowledge and experience of working with meat processing equipment and process product production

• Be flexible to travel throughout South Africa and Africa

• Integrity:  Honest, trustworthy, and possesses a strong work ethic with a positive attitude.

• Knowledge of relevant food related National Legislation

• Valid driver’s license and clean criminal and credit record
