Sales Representative

Duties & Responsibilities

In accordance with the company’s sales strategic requirements, achieve individual monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals and targets. Formulate customer call plans’, execute orders, deliveries and payment collections. The aim is to expand Aberdare’s brand influence and awareness within the industry. Other duties as follows:

• Sales driven, to ensure weekly and monthly targets and budgets are achieved.

• Action weekly customer call plans in the Gauteng region with the goal of establishing and developing customer relationships.

• Identify key projects within the Gauteng region; ensure timeous submission of quotations, bids, proposals and continuous follow-up with key customers.

• Analysis of competitors’ activity to ensure the business offering is competitive in the market.

• Assist the business with risk control and project execution risk for each order.

• Planning customer activities and attending exhibitions.

• Maintain an up to date CRM.

• Completing other tasks assigned by the GM: Contractors Sales.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate.

• Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering related would be advantageous.

Relevant Experience

• At least three years of experience within the electrical industry,

• Product knowledge of power cables and/or fiber cables a priority.

• Knowledge of the electrical contractor market.

• Initiative, team player and excellent communication skills.

• Own transport and valid driver’s license.

Other relevant skills

• Capable of working under pressure and fast paced work , with minimum supervision and meeting deadlines

• Maybe required to work more than the normal working hours as and when necessary
