About the Role

Our client is a major provider within the mining supplies, heavy engineering, and industrial machinery sectors. They are seeking highly motivated, independent Technical Sales Representatives to manage and scale their client footprints in key mining regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive aggressive sales growth through robust product and solution-selling methodologies.
• Engage with clients at all levels—from operations to senior management—across mining houses, sites, consultants, and EPCMs.
• Build strong networks and cross-functional relationships internally and externally.
• Maintain a strong focus on "order winning and winning", not just order taking.
• Set budgets, track performance metrics, and actively contribute to overall company growth strategies.
• Independently prepare and deliver tailored, high-impact technical presentations to target audiences across South Africa.

Minimum Requirements

• A completed post-matric qualification.
• Extensive technical sales experience operating specifically within the mining or minerals processing industries.
• A solid, foundational understanding of mining operations paired with a strong, practical grasp of marketing principles.
• Outstanding interpersonal, networking, and team collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and highly results-driven.
• Must be able to clearly demonstrate a history of prior sales successes.
