Sales Order Fulfilment Assistant (Junior Role)

Introduction

Donkey Long Tong is a proudly South African company crafting premium, sustainable fire tools that’s made to last. Every product is designed and assembled in  Cape Town.

This role focuses on getting customer, wholesale and corporate orders out the door accurately and on time. You will process daily orders, book deliveries with customers and couriers, check orders before dispatch and handle the admin that goes with it. It is a great fit for someone who is detail-driven, organised and enjoys being part of a busy, hands-on team.

Requirements

• Must live in Cape Town or the Western Cape

• Full-time, in-office position (5 days a week)

• South African citizen or permanent resident

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day processing of customer, wholesale and corporate orders

• Ensure orders are processed accurately and in accordance with customer-specific requirements and delivery instructions

• Assist with booking deliveries and coordinating dispatch requirements with customers and carriers

• Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy before dispatch

• Assist with general administrative tasks related to order processing, such as printing invoices and packing slips

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 2 -3 years in order fulfilment, warehouse administration, logistics or operations support

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

• Proactive, willing to learn and adapt to changing priorities
