The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the sales team, driving branch sales performance, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining key customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets. Detail: Location Cape Town, Western Cape Requirements Matric (Grade 12) is essential Relevant Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field will be advantageous Minimum 2–5 years' proven experience in a Sales Management role Strong leadership and team management experience Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Experience within the stationery or retail industry will be advantageous Valid driver's licence Computer literate with strong administrative skills Ability to work under pressure and consistently achieve sales targets Duties Manage, mentor, and support a team of Sales Representatives Drive sales performance and ensure branch sales targets are achieved Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts Identify and secure new business opportunities Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis Ensure exceptional customer service and high levels of client retention Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery Implement and monitor sales strategies to maximise revenue growth Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to the sales team Ensure accurate sales administration and CRM management Represent the company professionally during client meetings and networking opportunities Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Negotiation and closing ability Customer-focused with strong relationship management skills Strategic thinking and commercial awareness Strong organisational and planning skills Analytical with excellent reporting abilities Self-motivated and target-driven Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team Professional, adaptable, and results-oriented show more...
