The ATKV is a dynamic and fast-growing Afrikaans cultural organisation with a vacancy for an experienced sales manager at the ATKV Head Office in Randburg.
The sales manager’s core responsibility is to deliver measurable commercial growth. The call centre, CRM (customer relationship management), data, people, and processes are the mechanisms through which this outcome is achieved.

Duties & Responsibilities
Main responsibilities
To ensure sustainable growth in the ATKV’s direct sales and revenue by:
- Growing paid ATKV membership through systematic recruitment, conversion, retention and reactivation.
- Developing and managing an effective sales team that consistently performs against clear targets.
- Leveraging the ATKV’s existing database and client relationships for cross-selling relevant products and services.
- Establishing effective sales processes, lead management and CRM discipline.
- Using data and market insights to identify new sales opportunities, segments and channels.
- Developing commercial sales partnerships and channels that support direct sales.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications and experience
- A degree or diploma in marketing, business management, sales or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales management or a team leadership role.
- Proven experience in target-driven sales environments and managing individual and team performance.
- Proven experience in client recruitment, retention, reactivation and/or recurring revenue models will be strongly recommended.
- Experience in a call centre, direct sales or a CRM-driven environment will be an advantage.
- Experience with cross-selling, product portfolios or commercial channel development will be beneficial.

- Analytical thinking and the ability to translate data into practical sales actions.
- Good understanding of CRM, sales pipelines, lead management and conversion metrics.

- Strong client orientation without losing sight of commercial outputs.
- The ability to collaborate across functional boundaries with marketing, finance, IT and other internal stakeholders.
