We are currently recruiting on behalf of our South African based client, within the Logistics industry, for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join their team in Pinetown. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct cold calls, service calls and prospecting activities to generate new business
Promote rental and logistics services to existing and potential clients
Conduct client service assessments and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction
Drive sales growth and expand the client base within the designated area
Maintain accurate call sheets and customer records
Compile month-end sales reports
Provide general sales and administrative support as required by the Business Development Manager
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
Matric essential, with a relevant Diploma advantageous
Experience
At least three years external sales experience (essential) , ideally within the truck rental or logistics industry (advantageous)
Proficiency in MS Office
A valid driver's licence
Own reliable transport to and from the workplace.
