In this role, you will take direct ownership of driving new business growth across end-to-end transport modes (Air, Ocean, and Road). Working with medium-to-large business accounts, you will act as a strategic advisor to supply chain leaders, uncovering operational bottlenecks and delivering high-impact, tailor-made freight solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive New Business Growth: Prospect, qualify, and convert new medium-to-large business accounts, generating significant annual net sales revenue across multimodal freight services.
- Manage the Commercial Cycle: Spearhead customer engagements end-to-end—from initial prospecting and RFI/RFP/RFQ responses through contract negotiations, credit vetting, and onboarding.
- Consultative Solution Selling: Analyze client supply chain requirements and deliver compelling, value-added presentations that position our client as the partner of choice.
- Strategic Territory Planning: Develop and execute strategic business development plans to maintain a healthy pipeline of active opportunities and achieve budgeted revenue targets.
- Seamless Implementation: Collaborate closely with internal operations, customer service, and commercial teams to ensure clear service-level handovers and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Market & Competitor Insights: Keep a finger on the pulse of market dynamics, trade shifts, and competitor behavior to uncover new sector opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene (Salesforce), logging activities, sales calls, pipeline milestones, and win/loss analyses to support reliable forecasting.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of solid business development and sales experience within the freight forwarding, transport, or international logistics industry.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in winning new enterprise/B2B business, managing RFP/RFQ processes, and consistently achieving or exceeding commercial targets.
- Education: Recognized University Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, consultative selling, pipeline management, and contract closing skills.
- Communication & Presence: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage comfortably with senior corporate stakeholders.
- CRM Literacy: Practical proficiency with enterprise CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and modern sales tools.
