• Matric / Grade 12 • Proven sales experience within freight forwarding or logistics • Strong knowledge of international freight procedures (sea, air, road, customs) • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills • Targetâ??driven, selfâ??motivated and resultsâ??orientated • Valid drivers licence and own vehicle advantageous Attributes:
• Strong communication and presentation skills • Commercial mindset with business acumen • Ability to build and maintain client relationships • Resilient, proactive and able to work under pressure • Team player with a positive attitude • Customer service focused Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Manage and grow existing client accounts
- Promote and sell full freight forwarding services (sea, air, road, customs)
- Prepare and present quotations and solutions
- Negotiate rates and terms to maximise profitability
- Liaise with operations and customer service teams for seamless delivery
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity
- Attend client meetings & networking events
