Sales Executive - Cape Town - 35K - 40K basic + Incentives

Introduction

We will consider applicants who have successfully marketed Energy / Nutritional drinks / Gym / Athletic Equipment / Health Supplements

Duties & Responsibilities

- Pitch products to store owners, buyers and key decision-makers

- Open new accounts across various industries

Sports retailers

Wellness & Medical professionals (doctors, nutritionists, biokineticists, wellness and beauty clinics and centers)

Gyms and relevant movement studios (yoga, Pilates, HIIT, boxing, crossfit, HYROX, etc.).

Independent pharmacies

Independent food and supplement stores

Corporate canteens

Film industry catering services

- Responsible for opening new accounts and handing over to to external distribution team, but not responsible for maintain replenishment orders.

- Collaborate with sales team to share market insights and inform insights both to marketing, sales and new product development.

- Maintain accurate lead tracking and reporting using CRM and internal tools

- Brand activations at events (some weekend work), including expos, running club events, and other opportunities created through the role.

- Highly energetic and fantastic with people.

- Highly self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

- Strong organisational and reporting discipline

Minimum Requirements

- 3–5+ years proven success in external sales

- Experience working with or selling to independent retailers in health, wellness, food, supplement, or FMCG

- Existing industry contacts preferred

- Valid driver's license and own vehicle

- Willingness to travel nationally (monthly or bi-monthly)
