Start free — we apply for you →A permanent opportunity exists for an experienced SALES ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL) (External Sales) to join an established engineering services business servicing industrial customers across KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Free State and surrounding Northern KZN regions. • This is an external, field-based business development role suited to a commercially driven salesperson who enjoys customer interaction, technical solution selling, developing new business and building long-term industrial relationships. • The successful candidate will be expected to identify customer requirements, develop new opportunities, grow existing accounts and work closely with internal technical and workshop teams to provide appropriate solutions. • Minimum 5 years' external sales experience. • Proven external technical / industrial sales experience. • Previous experience selling into industrial or engineering environments. • Sound electrical and/or mechanical understanding. • Ability to understand customer technical requirements. • Proven new business development ability. • Strong negotiation and communication skills. • Self-motivated and commercially driven. • Computer literate. • CRM experience advantageous. • Valid Code EB driver's licence. • Own reliable vehicle. • Willingness to travel extensively. • Stable employment history. • Submit CV (Word / PDF)Ref # (TRG 2551).
