Sales Engineer required to join a leading specialist supplier of technical products and solutions to the mining and industrial sectors.
Head Office is Johannesburg based but the ideal candidate will be residing in Rustenburg / Brits in order to cover that geographical territory.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years' proven sales experience within the mining industry.
- Strong existing network and established contacts within the mining sector.
- Proven track record in technical / engineering sales.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to mines across multiple provinces.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
Overview of duties
- Develop and manage relationships with major mining operations and industrial clients.
- Drive sales growth across North West, Northern Cape, Limpopo, parts of Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Free State.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
- Conduct regular client and mine visits, providing technical solutions and product support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and technical personnel within the mining sector.
- Provide technical advice and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to closing and after-sales service.
- Travel extensively to mining operations across the assigned territory.
Package & Remuneration
Salary Bracket
R28 000 to R38 000 per month basic , depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package
+ competitive commission structure with strong earning potential
+ company vehicle

+ 13 th cheque based on company and individual performance
