Are you a Mechanical Engineer who knows how to turn technical knowledge into commercial growth? An exciting opportunity is available for a Sales Engineer with strong experience across bearings and mechanical power transmission solutions. Duties & Responsibilities
A leading global engineering organisation is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to develop and grow its customer base across Johannesburg and Cape Town.
The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing existing accounts and providing technically appropriate solutions across bearings and mechanical power transmission products.
You will engage with industrial customers, understand their applications and operating requirements, recommend suitable solutions and drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle.
Education
- BEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering or relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification
Job Experience & Skills Required
- 4–5 years' technical sales experience
- Strong experience selling bearings and mechanical power transmission products
- Experience with gear drives, couplings, belts, chains or related industrial products advantageous
- Proven new business development experience
- Strong account development and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to understand industrial applications and recommend technical solutions
- Strong commercial and negotiation ability
- Valid driver's licence
