Detail: Role: This is a full-time role for a Sales Engineer in KwaZulu- Natal. We are looking for a Sales Engineer that will be responsible for providing technical support, communication with customers, sales activities, and ensuring excellent customer service on a day-to-day basis. Job Description: - Accountable for Geographic & Industrial Sales Development and business opportunity growth of the Turck Banner product portfolio. - Manage complex sales processes, diligently develop pipeline and healthy opportunities, prepare and conduct sales presentations, engaging effectively to all focus customers. - Key Account Development: work closely with Team Leader(s) to establish and implement account plan and strategy. - Acquire the needed technical competency to hold at least preliminary technical presentations and discussions with customers. - Effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new revenue through prospecting, lead/funnel follow-up, and effective territory management in a broad base of industries and applications using company structured KPI's. - Administrative Responsibilities: preparation of quotes, CRM management and territory reporting on a regular basis. - Plan and conduct sales visits to targeted customers on regular basis to build visibility. Review and update progression of these visits with Team Leader(s) on a weekly basis. - Perform any other relevant duties as and when assigned by the Team Leader(s). Desired Skills: To be successful in this role, you should have: - Ability to work independently and responsibly within a small team - Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Requirements: The candidate should provide the following when applying for this position: - Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualifications - At least 2-3 years' experience in technical sales of industrial automation - Valid driver's license show more...
