A leading FMCG organisation is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales & Distribution Manager to join its Commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distribution operations, developing high-performing sales teams, and ensuring excellent market execution within the assigned region.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets.
- Drive market share growth and identify opportunities for new outlet development.
- Manage and develop Sales Representatives through coaching and on-the-job training.
- Ensure effective trade execution, merchandising, promotions, and brand visibility.
- Monitor and control distribution costs, operational expenses, and trade debtors.
- Prepare sales reports, business plans, and strategic plans.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years' sales and distribution experience within an FMCG environment.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of route-to-market principles and retail trade execution.
- Computer literacy and ability to work independently.
