SALES CONSULTANTS

Introduction

The South African Mint invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the positions of Coin World Sales Consultants (x2) . The successful incumbents will be responsible for the sales of products to the public, coin dealers, and other interested parties, requiring in-depth knowledge of related products.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as a Brand Ambassador for the SA Mint within set parameters

• Achieve set sales targets through initiating and closing sales deals with customers

• Conduct basic price negotiation on products

• Analyse the sales history of customers and engage potential and existing clients to promote and sell products

• Process sales orders on SAP

• Ensure payments are received on all sales as per the payment plan

• Oversee the packaging and dispatching of sold products

• Maintain database management of customer transactions

• Conduct daily and monthly stock-taking to ensure correct stock levels and product availability

• Provide input into the marketing of products based on customer interactions

• Participate in sales and campaign initiatives at pop-up stores, events, and shows

• Resolve all customer queries and complaints through direct client liaison

• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and specifications

• Conduct museum tours for visitors and clients

• Ensure sales operations comply with legislative requirements, including FICA and KYC

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and report all hazards, accidents, and incidents to the relevant parties

• Perform ad-hoc tasks to uphold operational standards and sound business ethics

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4

• 8 years' experience in a Sales and Finance environment will be an added advantage
