A premium brand specialising in fireplaces and braais is seeking a young, energetic, and naturally sales-driven professional to join our JHB team. This permanent role is ideal for a technically minded individual looking to imbed themselves in the building and home finishes industry and grow long-term with an expanding business.
Start date: January 2027
Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales: Meet yearly sales budgets through showroom walk-ins and active lead generation.
- Site Consulting: Visit building sites, read architectural plans, and pitch directly to builders and architects.
- Showroom Presentation: Maintain premium merchandising and display standards to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Admin & Quotes: Generate professional client quotations and quickly resolve customer queries.
Desired Experience & Requirements
Experience
- Candidates with experience in the fireplaces or heating industry is a primary choice.
- As an alternative a sales person with experience in related home finishes
eg: flooring , air- conditioning , roofing materials , paints, homeware ,sanitary ware and similar home related industries.
- Proven sales track record is imperative
- Be naturally technically minded, familiar with plans and knows their way around a building site
- The candidate must also be motivated to go out and look for business.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- Basic computer literacy, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Valid Drivers License (Code B)
Package & Remuneration
- Basic : + commission structure based on sales performance
- Provident Fund 6% company contribution + 6% employee contribution
- Medical Aid (Hospital plan) 50% company contribution + 50% employee contribution
- Company Car is available to execute sales tasks during the day
Overtime: Any hours worked over the maximum weekly limit are fully paid out.
Working Hours & Shift Structure
- Standard Hours (Fourways store):
- Monday to Thursday (08:00 – 17:00) | Friday (08:00 – 16:00) | Saturdays (09:00 – 13:00), X2 Saturdays per month
