Sales Agent

Introduction

We are recruiting  experienced, high-performing Sales Agents  to join our outbound sales environment, specialising in motor value-added products.

This role is built for professionals who understand sales discipline, consistency, and performance and want to be rewarded accordingly.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive outbound sales by engaging prospective clients telephonically and selling a range of motor value-added products (VAPs)

• Consistently achieve and exceed performance targets, including sales volumes, conversion rates, and quality standards

• Apply strong objection handling and closing techniques, ensuring all sales are concluded professionally, ethically, and in line with compliance standards

• Deliver a customer-centric experience by communicating clearly, accurately, and transparently

• Adhere to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles by ensuring Customers are sold appropriate products

• Maintain high-quality standards by meeting internal QA score requirements, minimising errors, and ensuring all interactions meet regulatory and business expectations

• Accurately capture and manage client information across systems, ensuring completeness, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements

• Actively participate in coaching, training, and performance management processes, demonstrating continuous improvement and responsiveness to feedback

• Contribute to a high-performance team culture, demonstrating resilience, accountability, and a strong commitment to achieving both individual and team objectives

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate

• 2–3 years’ proven sales experience in a call centre, retail, or direct sales environment

• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Fluent in English; additional South African languages are a plus

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, professional, and goal-oriented

• Confident, energetic, and resilient under pressure

• A strong team player who contributes positively to the company culture

Desired Requirements (Advantageous)

• Financial Services or Insurance industry experience

• RE5 certification

• Short-Term Insurance Class of Business
