Sales Administrator (KZ)

Introduction

Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the sales team performs at the highest level by driving accountability, managing priorities, monitoring performance, and ensuring that all customer commitments, sales activities, and internal processes are executed effectively. Report directly to Sales Director.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the sales department.

• Monitor and drive sales team performance, accountability, and productivity.

• Ensure customer requests, quotations, follow-ups, and commitments are actioned timeously.

• Allocate, track, and manage tasks across the sales team.

• Develop and maintain reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.

• Analyze sales activities and identify areas requiring management intervention.

• Monitor adherence to company policies, procedures, and sales processes.

• Conduct regular follow-ups with sales staff regarding outstanding actions and commitments.

• Prepare management reports and provide recommendations to improve departmental effectiveness.

• Assist with strategic planning, forecasting, and operational improvements within the sales department.

• Act as the central point of coordination between the Sales Director and the sales team.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Strong experience in reporting, data analysis, KPI management, and performance measurement.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

• Experience outside the steel sector will be advantageous.

• Experience within distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or other high-volume sales environments.

• Exposure to CRM systems, ERP systems, KPI management, and sales performance reporting

• Valid driver's licence.
