- Monitoring of Variable Trade Allowance Spend
- Responsible to capture all Variable Trading Term agreements in SAP to ensure accurate provisions
- Responsible to calculate all rebate payments and rebate claim deductions in accordance with valid trading terms
- Process all rebate settlements for payment for approval & release by Trade Allowance Controller
- Compile monthly Rebate Recon for BU of responsibility for approval by Controller
- Handle Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries
- The trading term percentages determine the variable rebate accrual and this requires tremendous accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to create Rebate, Distribution & Growth agreements in SAP
- Compile Trade Agreement Summary
- Validate customer rebate deduction claims received from AR against trading terms
- Responsible to calculate all rebate settlements for payment
- Process all rebate settlements for payment for approval & release by Trade Allowance Controller
- Handle Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries
- Investigate and provide comments on monthly Rebate Recon discrepancies identified and execute corrective action
- Comply to Standard Operating Procedures, Service Level Agreements and policies
- Internal, External and SARS audits > Accountable & Executing Actions
- Park journals for FIFO & Variable Trade Allowance adjustments
Qualifications
- Qualification – Grade 12. Tertiary qualification would be advantegeous
- Commercial and Financial Acumen within an FMCG environment with at least 2 years experience
