A respected and established audit and accounting practice in Somerset West is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join their team as a SAIT Tax Technician Intern on a structured 2-year internship programme.
This opportunity is ideal for recent Matriculants with strong academic results, as well as individuals with an administrative background who have a genuine interest in taxation and professional services. No formal qualification is required – we are looking for someone with exceptional organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a willingness to learn.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting with tax administration and compliance processes
- Preparing and maintaining client files and records
- Following up on outstanding information and documentation
- Liaising professionally with clients and relevant authorities
- Assisting with tax submissions and related documentation
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Providing administrative support to the tax department
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 / Matric with above-average academic results
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines
Advantageous
- Previous administrative experience
- Exposure to accounting, finance, tax, or professional services environments
